Dr. Micah K. Sinclair is the Medical Director of Pediatric Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Shriners Children’s Hospital Northern California and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California Davis Health System.
Dr. Sinclair has navigated the field of orthopaedic surgery for almost two decades since she was first instructed to get a push-up bra and lipstick for residency interviews. While hearing that may have changed the minds of some applicants, she has continued to leverage her strengths, hone her surgical and leadership skills, and pursue change in the field of orthopaedic surgery. She believes that women should lift each other up and has made a personal commitment in her career to supporting an inclusive environment in orthopaedic surgery and an environment where women’s voices can be heard.
